Krautz & Summerill was established over 40 years ago, in the early 1970’s, in Albury-Wodonga and originally focused on small domestic jobs and solid plaster/rendering.
Over time the focus changed to concreting & later to commercial concreting, formwork & steel fixing.
As precast concrete was developing throughout Australia Krautz & Summerill was one of the founding members of the National Precast Association of Australia.
At this time Krautz & Summerill started manufacturing steam cured concrete power poles & precast products in the late 1970’s.
Many of these poles can still be seen in Melbourne suburbs of Coburg, Doncaster, Preston & Box Hill & down the Murray river from Albury to Mildura & as far west as Broken Hill.
Krautz & Summerill built the current precast factory in 2004 and ceased precast power pole manufacture to focus on precast panels.
Throughout this time Krautz & Summerill has grown and evolved to become the regions most respected and recognised concrete and precast contractor in regional New South Wales & Victoria.
Krautz & Summerill perform all types of concrete works including but not limited to precast panel fabrication and installation, general concreting, bored piers, formwork, steel fixing and detailed excavations on all sizes of project from domestic through to the largest commercial & industrial projects that the region offers.
